BONNAROO 2008 Headliner's Schedule

this year, there is 4 headliners. according to Pollstar.com and various other sites, this is the headliner schedule

Thursday Night - Kanye West
Friday Night - Metallica
Saturday Night - Pearl Jam
Sunday Night - Jack Johnson or Phil Lesh and Friends

also i would like to note that the Led Zepplin rumours are still pouring in of a Bonnaroo appearance. looks to be like they're witholding saying it until after tickets go on sale. if this is true, then Zepplin would headline either saturday or sunday night. again, this is jus rumours, more than likely Zepplin wont tour until late this year and will end up being at Bonnaroo 2009. either way, we get 4 headliners this year and im excited about teh whole lineup in general. tickets go on sale satuday february 16 at noon. get em early and theyre cheaper as the prices have gone up this year. expect more artist announcements in the coming weeks. its gettin closer every day

this is mainly for hunter since hes the only person besides beth and i that watch heroes and so caught up in it. so heres my current theory for Heroes as to what the fuck is goin on. the new girl thats lookin for peter, her name is elle. i read online where its gonna be revealed later in the season that she has ties to the peterilli clan and claire. so heres what ive been thinkin. i think she may be peter and nathan's long lost sister or a half sister. something jus struck me odd when she was on the phone in the car and she was talkin to her "daddy". curious. and the other theory i have on the killer thats takin out the old heroes: KENSEI!!!! if he can heal like claire, what if he cant die. i think it might be him jus cause his figure is the same as the one they been showing attacking the people. hes too small to be parkman's father but possibly in league with him. ive got htis idea that theres a group of villians we have yet to see. we got parkman's dad, this elle girl, peter's possibly alive father who could also be their leader, and whomever else that was in that photo that we have not seen yet. we've established the good guys already, theyve assembled b4 to take down a villian, sylar. but theres so much more to sylar, i think hes gonna be approached later on by people more powerful than him and he may try to help peter and everyone for once and not worry about eating brains. now back to elle. her power has somethin to do with electricity. whats wierd is peter already has that power so hes been around her b4 and not known it. peter takes everyones power whens hes around em. and it struck me the other day that the first power peter had was prophetic dreams. a gift which charles deveaux had, the old guy peter was nurse for. he dreamed about flyin before he knew he could. so what powers do the old heroes have. angela petrelli??? hiro's father???? dammit, im gonna be pissed if they ever do kill off H.R.G.

VICTORY!!

It's not VIKING QUEST the movie, but it's a step towards seeing that dream realized. Kevin Dillon(Johnny Drama) is going to topline NATIONAL LAMPOON'S 301: THE LEGEND OF AWESOMEST MAXIMUS WALLACE LEONIDAS, a spoof of epic battle movies. Dillon plays a Spartan warrior who bumbles himself up in ranks somehow. They promise spoofs of BRAVEHEART, TROY, 300 and GLADIATOR.

NEW RADIOHEAD ALBUM

So apparently Radiohead has decided to release their new album "In Rainbows" digitally at the fixed price of WHATEVERTHEEFFYOUWANT!

I found this comment in another forum and feel that it is fair in all logic:

"I really wish I could preview the album (even streaming) before deciding how much to spend. So, I just bought the 'download' version for $0.00. If it's good, I'll go back and buy it again for $15. If it's just OK, I'll go back and give them $5."

Who can argue with that? Now you know where your dollar is going. Show your support here:

http://www.inrainbows.com/Store/index.html

P.S. The physical Disc Set will be released in December at a price of £40.00 including postage.Tha's about 80 bucks in the US. but its worth every penny.

so i was lookin on youtube at videos of shows that have been at the masquerade and i found videos of Nirvana playin there in 1991. i dont know about some of you but bein able to say i was on that same stage the other night that kurt cobain once played on makes me feel really special. like it was some sort of eerie connection or whatever. oh well heres some videos, enjoy!

Breed - i like how at the beginning of the song he says"wrote a song bout it, like to hear it, here it goes"
<lj-embed id="76" />

Love Buzz
<lj-embed id="77" />

Scoff
<lj-embed id="78" />

Jesus Don't Want Me For A Sunbeam/Aneurysm
<lj-embed id="79" />

Blew
<lj-embed id="80" />

Rape Me
<lj-embed id="81" />

im jus amazed that the videos were jus a coincidence finding. i never knew Nirvana even came to atlanta. well i was only 9 years old at the time and jus gettin into nirvana thanks to TJ next door. i wonder who else has played at the masquerade before before i ever started goin to shows there around 99 and 2000?

i'm shipping up to Boston

so last night was one of the best and funnest shows in a long time. Horrorpops and Dropkick Murphys. it was my 6th time seein Dropkick, 3rd time seein Horrorpops. we got to the masquerade, met up with the krrs and hollie, went into purgatory and got some drinks. after sittin there watchin True Romance, wattz hears a stand up bass playin. we rush up to see the Horrorpops on. totally badass. the best horrorpops show ive seen . theyre down to a three piece, along with two go-go dancers. i went to the bathroom only to find it lined up out in the hall so i said fuck it and went bak to the crowd and got a great spot right up front on the side behind a couple people. well, halfway into the horrorpops set, these two girls in front of me start a brawl: it started with one chick slamming the other chick's head against the speakers. secuirty jumps on em and kicks em out. so i get right up on the stage on the side for the rest of the show. after horrorpops, emily and rachel moved to where i was standin. rachel went to get beer so it was me and emily pretty much the entire time dropkick played. we had to deal with the crowd surfers coming off stage but it was fuckin worth it to stand so close to dropkick. we could reach out and touch the guirtarist and ken casey. im glad emily was right up there with me. half way through the show, will crowd surfed and came past us.on dropkci's last song, kiss me im shitfaced, they always get a bunch of girls fromo the audience on stage. emily didnt know what was goin on when the security pulledher up first onto the stage. rachel comes up to me askin whats goin on, i tell her to get up there but she refuses. so i pushed her onto the stage. that was their last song, all the girls come off the stage. im glad emily and rachel got to go onstage at their first dropkick show. but it wasnt over. the security told me that they were comin bak out for an enocre and after the first song he said i could get onstage if i wanted, jus had to be fast about. i turned around to look for thomas,grabbed him and pulled him to me, told him what was up then dropkick came bak out. first song was i'm shipping up to boston, the one song i wanted to hear the most that evening. after that song, they start skinhead on the ntb and securitrty mvoes out of my way. thomas and i were onstage with dropick fucking murphys. this has been a dream of mine to be onstage during dropkicks final song since i first saw them with will about 4 years ago.thomas, im really glad u were up there with me, it couldnt have been any better. we moshed, headbanged, skanked, pogoed all while skinhead was playin, then the last song was alcohol. which was great since we both had beeers in our hands. WE WERE ONSTAGE WITH THE FUCKIN BAND. there will never a show as good as that at the masquerade, it cant be topped. how could you top it, it was the best dropkick show ever. ive totally gotta go to boston now to see em on st. patty's day. good tunes, good brews, good friends, food times. oh man im sore today. my neck hurts, my left arm is sore from fist pumpin the entire show, i smell better, and i jus feel like being lazy all day. gonna dig out my dropkick dvd and the departed, smoke a bowl and jus chill all day. somebody holla at me if ur lookin for company.
